Maverick Stampede Rodeo 04-17-2026

The CMU Maverick Stampede Rodeo will return to the Mesa County Fairgrounds on April 17th an 18th, 2026!

College contestants from all over the United States and Canada compete for one of the last opportunities of the season to earn points towards their national rankings in hopes for a College National Finals Qualification.

General Admission tickets are $20, while children 10 and under get in free.  VIP Tickets are on sale now but limited, so get them while they last because they will sell out!

All students, staff, and faculty get 1 complimentary ticket with their digital ID thanks to our Ticket Sponsor, Alpine Bank!

On Friday doors will open at 5pm, and on Saturday doors will open at 4pm.  The rodeo will begin at 6pm both days.

Saturday night there will be a concert in the CW Arena following the Maverick Stampede!  Entry is FREE for anyone who attended the rodeo.  There will be a beer tent and food trucks at the concert area.
