Call for community artists to create GVT bus stop murals

The Grand Valley Regional Transportation Office calls for all artists to apply for the opportunity to participate in the Shelter Mural Project to design and paint mural panels at various Grand Valley Transit (GVT) bus stop shelters within Mesa County.  Submit your applications by July 1, 2025, to be considered as one of the selected artists who will create a vibrant mural that fosters a sense of place and showcases our unique community to our GVT users.

This opportunity is made possible in part through a generous grant from the Grand Junction Commission on Arts & Culture.

Selected artists will receive a stipend for time and materials, provided upon the project's completion.
