Mesa County Commissioner JJ Fletcher was sworn into office by 21st Judicial District Chief Judge Brian Flynn on Tuesday, Jan. 14.

Mesa County voters elected Fletcher for District 3 County Commissioner.

"Mesa County is a safe place; it's the place that we call home," said Mesa County Commissioner JJ Fletcher. "As your County Commissioner, I want to make sure that future generations have the same opportunities that our families have had and that we work together to build a better future for them." 

County Commissioners serve for four years and can serve up to two terms. Their primary functions are to be the County's policy-making body and oversee its budgetary processes to provide public services desired by the citizens of Mesa County.
