Chair of the Board of Mesa County Commissioners Cody Davis joined Mesa County Sheriff Todd Rowell and other officials to give our community an update on the Turner Gulch and Wright Draw Fires at the Community Meeting that the Rocky Mountain Complex Incident Management Team 1 (RMCIMT1) put on Wednesday, July 16, in Gateway.

“I did want to thank all of our partners. Mesa County can’t do this on our own,” Chair of the Board of Mesa County Commissioners Cody Davis said. “The Sheriff’s initial response was quick and swift. And the State’s response was again, when it got to that next level, swift. But we’ve got Rocky Mountain Team 1 in here now. They’re the big boys, and they’re going to take care of this fire.”

If you didn’t make it to the meeting or watch the live stream, you can watch a video of the full meeting here
