The 57th Annual Palisade Peach Festival kicked off on Aug. 15 with Mesa County Commissioner JJ Fletcher reading a proclamation presented by the Mesa County Board of Commissioners at Riverbend Park.

“Welcome to my hometown, Palisade, home to the world’s best peaches, home to the world’s best people,” Mesa County Commissioner JJ Fletcher said. “Thank you to all the people who participate in bringing the harvest in.”

The proclamation reads, “The Palisade Peach Festival celebrates more than just a harvest—it honors the enduring legacy of our local growers, the strength of our community, and the traditions passed down through generations.”
