No Burn Advisory

Mesa County Public Health has issued a No Burn Advisory from Saturday, June 6 at 7 a.m. until Tuesday, June 9 at 9 p.m. due to fire danger. Burning of any kind, including agricultural burning, is not allowed during this advisory period. Check conditions on our Air Quality webpage.

This year, the Mesa County Commissioners have traveled throughout the county, collaborating on town halls with different city and town leaders — listening to residents to help problem-solve challenges they may be facing in their communities, providing updates on what our local governments are working on and fostering open communication between residents and local leaders.

So far, the commissioners have gained invaluable insights from their time with the Town of De Beque, the City of Fruita, the Town of Palisade and Clifton.

We thank the dedicated citizens who take the time to be a voice for their communities and our fellow municipalities who see the strength in coming together to better serve our residents. When residents and local leaders come together, we lay the foundation for a stronger, more connected community.

Stay tuned for future opportunities to engage with local leaders at a town hall event.
