Stage 1 Fire Restrictions enacted

Effective beginning 12:01 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, until further notice. These restrictions apply to all private land and BLM managed public lands within the boundaries of the Grand Junction Field Office. For more information visit the Fire Restrictions webpage.

There are opportunities to attend U.S. Senator John Hickenlooper’s in-person listening sessions in Grand Junction on Saturday, April 27, at 10:30 a.m. and in Naturita on Friday, April 26, at 3:30 p.m. to hear directly from Coloradans about the proposed Dolores Canyons National Monument.

The listening sessions are free to attend and open to the public; attendees are asked to RSVP. The sessions’ locations and parking instructions are provided upon registration.
