Stage 1 Fire Restrictions enacted

Effective beginning 12:01 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, until further notice. These restrictions apply to all private land and BLM managed public lands within the boundaries of the Grand Junction Field Office. For more information visit the Fire Restrictions webpage.

Last week, Team Mesa came together for a special Years of Service Employee Recognition Luncheon to honor our very own superheroes! From the Sheriff’s Office and Animal Services to Road and Bridge, Elections, Surveying, and more — these dedicated employees have served our community for 5 to 30 years, making Mesa County a better place to live, work, and play!

With a superhero theme, we celebrated the heroes who keep our county running smoothly. Their hard work and passion make a huge impact every day — whether they’re keeping our roads safe, connecting people to jobs, properly disposing of trash, supporting mental health, or ensuring fair elections.

Join us in giving a big thank you to all of our committed employees who empower our residents to live fulfilling lives. Your dedication is what makes Mesa County an incredible community!
