22 miles of sewer pipes undergo inspection and cleaning

The Board of Mesa County Commissioners unanimously approved a $399,775 agreement with Rhino Engineering Solutions, LLC for the 2024-2025 Storm Sewer Cleaning and Inspection Project, during their Nov. 12 administrative public hearing.

This critical project will assess the condition of 22 miles of storm sewer pipes across Mesa County, and conduct any necessary cleaning — ensuring they’re sanitary, functional, and ready for any weather.

Conducting thorough inspections and cleaning now helps us identify potential issues before they become major problems to avoid costly repairs and ensure our community stays safe and dry.
