At their June 11 public hearing, the Board of Mesa County Commissioners approved Mesa County Fleet Services to issue purchase orders for Mesa County 2024 replacement vehicles and equipment in the amount not to exceed $1.99 million.

Fleet Services conducted a comprehensive review of all County vehicles and equipment to identify which machinery met the criteria for replacement and received approval for the total cost in Mesa County’s 2024 Vehicle and Equipment Capital Replacement Budget Request. This year’s purchase will include six heavy equipment and 17 light to medium-duty vehicles.

Now, they will proceed with placing 2024 purchase orders to ensure that all Mesa County departments requiring vehicles and equipment are prepared to provide exceptional services to our community.
