Call for proposals open for 2026 Mesa County Community Summit
This fall, Mesa County is creating space to reconnect with the purpose of serving children and families.
The 2026 Mesa County Community Summit will take place Sept. 28 & 29 at the Colorado Mesa University Center. This annual gathering brings together professionals from across disciplines for two days of learning, connection and renewal.
This year’s theme, Hope, is both simple and powerful. It’s about what sustains us in challenging environments, what reconnects us to our “why” and what keeps us moving forward in service to others.
We’re inviting presenters to help shape this year’s Summit by sharing ideas, strategies and real-world practices that make a difference. Whether it’s a fresh approach to preventing burnout, a story of innovation that’s working in your field or a way to lead with purpose right where you are, your perspective could be exactly what someone else needs to hear.
The Summit is designed to be interactive and practical, with sessions that go beyond theory and offer tools people can actually use. More than anything, we’re looking for presentations that leave people feeling re-energized, connected and hopeful.
Proposals are due by May 1, 2026, and selected presenters will be notified by mid-June. Selected presenters will receive complimentary registration for up to two speakers, and sessions are typically 75 minutes in length.
