Celebrate, connect and learn at the 2025 Foster and Kinship Resource Fair
Foster, kinship and adoptive families from across Mesa County are invited to a day of fun at the 2025 Foster and Kinship Resource Fair. This free event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6 at Orchard Mesa Lions Club Park, located at 2770 US-50.
The resource fair is hosted by Mesa County Department of Human Services in partnership with KinConnect, WhimSpire, Ariel Clinical Services, Hope & Home, Project 1.27 and Be the Source. These local organizations will be there to offer information, resources and support. You’ll have the chance to ask questions, connect with other families and explore what support services are available in our community.
The resource fair is for everyone who is already fostering, providing kinship care or simply thinking about taking the next step. It will feature games, activities and prize drawings, along with a bounce house and food trucks to make for a great day out for the whole family.
If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to become a foster parent or how to navigate kinship care, this is the perfect opportunity to get informed in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
