Mesa County Department of Human Services (MCDHS) understands that navigating public assistance programs can be overwhelming. That’s why our Economic Assistance Division offers a dedicated Call Center to make it easier for you to get the help you need.

Our Call Center serves individuals and families in our growing community by providing direct support for food assistance (SNAP) and medical coverage (Medicaid/Health First Colorado) programs. Whether you have questions about your benefits, need to report a change to your case or need help getting started, our knowledgeable staff is ready to assist.

You can reach the Economic Assistance Call Center at 970-256-2434. The Call Center is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Calling ahead can save you time and help you avoid a long wait in our lobby.
