Mesa County Commissioners on Jan. 6 approved a contract extension with Rocksol Consulting Group to provide on-call quality assurance testing services in 2026.

The contract extension is in an amount not to exceed $100,000.

The services support Mesa County’s capital improvement and maintenance projects by providing independent testing and inspection of construction materials. Quality assurance testing helps verify that materials used on county projects meet required standards, supporting safety, durability and responsible use of public funds.

The agreement continues an existing relationship that began in 2023 following a competitive request for proposals process. The extension allows the county to access testing services as needed throughout the year, rather than issuing individual contracts for each project.
