Old electronics piling up? Mesa County is offering a simple way to clear them out — at no cost.

The Mesa County Solid Waste Hazardous Waste team will host a free e-waste collection during Southwest Arbor Fest, helping residents safely dispose of electronics and keep harmful materials out of landfills.

Event details

  • When: Saturday, April 25 | 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

  • Where: Lincoln Park (near the pickleball courts; enter from Gunnison Avenue)

What to expect

  • Free drop-off: Up to 40 pounds of residential e-waste per vehicle

  • Additional items: $0.65 per pound (cash, card or check)

  • Residential only

What you can bring

  • TVs, computers and laptops

  • Printers, scanners and monitors

  • Phones, tablets and small electronics

  • Cords, cables and accessories

  • Gaming systems and stereo equipment

A wide range of electronics are accepted, including routers, hard drives and more.

What is not accepted

  • Alkaline batteries (AA, AAA, etc.)

  • Light bulbs

  • Hazardous waste

  • Business waste

Electronics contain materials that can harm the environment if not disposed of properly. This event makes it easy to do the right thing and keep Mesa County clean.
