March Workforce Center workshops help job seekers build essential skills
The Mesa County Workforce Center (MCWFC), 512 29 1/2 Road, is offering a series of free in-person workshops this March to help community members strengthen their job search skills. Whether you're creating a resume, learning how to find job opportunities or preparing for interviews, these sessions provide practical guidance from Workforce Center staff.

Resume Basics Workshop: 9–10 a.m. Wednesday, March 12
Learn how to create or improve your resume so it clearly highlights your skills, experience and strengths. Staff will share tips on formatting, organizing your information and making sure your résumé stands out to employers.
Job Search 101 Workshop: 10–11 a.m. Thursday, March 13
Explore strategies for finding job opportunities and organizing your job search. This workshop covers navigating job boards, identifying potential employers and staying on track during your search.
Interview Prep Workshop: 10–11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19
Prepare for interviews with confidence. Participants will learn how to answer common interview questions, communicate their experience effectively and make a strong first impression.
