Mesa County Child Support Services presents at Legal Resource Day
Mesa County Child Support Services joined community partners and legal experts for Legal Resource Day today at the Mesa County Central Library. The team offered residents valuable insight into family law and child support processes.
Child Support staff led an educational session titled “Introduction to Child Support: Helping Families through the Process.” The presentation provided an overview of the Mesa County Child Support program, including its purpose, key steps and how it helps families achieve financial stability.
Participants learned about how child support services assist with establishing parentage, setting up and enforcing child support orders as well as connecting parents with tools to navigate the legal process. The session was designed for those seeking to better understand how the program works and how it supports children’s well-being. Staff were present onsite to meet individually with members of the public and respond to any specific questions.
Legal Resource Day provides Mesa County residents with free access to legal information, workshops and one-on-one consultations. Mesa County Child Support Services is proud to be part of this community effort to make the legal system more approachable for families.
