VA Mobile Outreach Van coming to the Workforce Center
The Mesa County Workforce Center is excited to announce a new partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs to bring vital services directly to local veterans and their families. Starting Tuesday, July 15, the VA’s Vet Center Outreach Van will be on-site at the Workforce Center every third Tuesday of the month.
This mobile unit will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to assist with:
- Enrollment in VA Health Care
- Enrollment in Vet Center services
- Mental health and wellness support
- Navigating additional VA benefits and services
Tuesdays are also our open walk-in days for Veterans Services, available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. This collaboration ensures greater access to care, especially for those not yet connected to VA services.
Workforce Center staff, including our Veterans Service Team, will continue offering local support for benefit applications and resources, while the VA team will provide direct access to federal health care and mental health enrollment assistance.
The Outreach Van will be parked in the Workforce Center lot at 512 29½ Road. Please look for signage and cones to guide you to the right spot.
