The Mesa County Workforce Center is offering a full lineup of free workshops this November to help job seekers strengthen their skills, build confidence and stay competitive in today’s workforce. Whether you’re refining a resume, preparing for an interview or learning how to navigate LinkedIn, there’s something for every stage of the job search.

Workshops are virtual unless otherwise noted, and participants can register at ConnectingColorado.gov.

November Workshop Schedule

Job Search After 50 (In-Person) - Nov. 5 at 9 a.m.

Learn job search strategies tailored for experienced workers and explore how to make your skills stand out in the modern job market.

Job Search (Virtual) - Nov. 12, 10–11 a.m.

Get tips on where to look, how to target applications, and how to highlight your strengths effectively.

Resume Basics (Virtual) - Nov. 17, 1–2 p.m.

Build a polished résumé that showcases your experience and lands interviews.

Interview Preparation (Virtual) - Nov. 21, 10–11 a.m.

Practice strategies for answering common interview questions, communicating confidently, and presenting yourself professionally.

LinkedIn Basics (Virtual) - Nov. 25, 10–11 a.m.

Learn how to build a LinkedIn profile, connect with employers, and use the platform to support your job search.
