No Burn Advisory

Mesa County Public Health has issued a No Burn Advisory from Saturday, June 6 at 7 a.m. until Tuesday, June 9 at 9 p.m. due to fire danger. Burning of any kind, including agricultural burning, is not allowed during this advisory period. Check conditions on our Air Quality webpage.

All animal enforcement response is handled by the Mesa County Sheriff's Office and each municipalities' police departments. To make a report or if you have found an animal, contact non emergency dispatch at 970-242-6707 for all jurisdictions within Mesa County.

Animal bites (non-wildlife)

Colorado Revised Statute 25-4-603 requires all animal bites be reported. If a bite has occurred, please contact non-emergency dispatch to make a report 970-242-6707.

For any issues regarding wildlife, please contact the Colorado Department of Wildlife at 970-255-6100

If you are bitten by a wild animal, please contact the Mesa County Health Department at 970-254-4120.
