Mesa County Ballot Verifier
The Ballot Verifier Tool offers a user-friendly interface that allows anyone to view and verify cast ballots dating back to November 2023. Members of the public can access election data directly without needing to submit a formal public records request to the Mesa County Clerks' office. Previously, obtaining such information required waiting several days and paying a fee. Now, voters can view, download, and even run their own “citizen count” anytime, right from the tool.
This new feature marks a significant step forward in bringing greater transparency to the election process and ensures that Mesa County’s elections are open to scrutiny and verification. The tool effectively serves as a third-party audit, allowing anyone to cross-check the recorded ballot counts against the official results.
