Stage 1 Fire Restrictions enacted

Effective beginning 12:01 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, until further notice. These restrictions apply to all private land and BLM managed public lands within the boundaries of the Grand Junction Field Office. For more information visit the Fire Restrictions webpage.

Below is a list of all currently open VALE funding opportunities, with links to the full text of the solicitation where you can locate information on eligibility and how to apply. We encourage you to check out the guidelines and instruction documents for information and suggestions on writing and submitting an application.

Current funding opportunities

2027 Victim Services Grant

This opportunity is for agencies that assist crime victims in the 21st Judicial District of Colorado (Mesa County).

The priority use for grant funds is for the implementation of the rights afforded to crime victims according to the Victim Rights Act (C.R.S. §24-4.1-302.5, C.R.S. 24-4.1-303, and C.R.S. §24-4.1-304) and the provision of the services and programs listed in the VALE statute (C.R.S. §24-4.2-105(4)).

Funds shall not be used for defraying routine and ongoing operating expenses. At no time can VALE grant funds be used to pay for assistance to defendants.

 

 

Anticipated Amount Available:  $450,000

Funding Period: January 1 - December 31, 2027

Applications due by:  11:59:59 pm on July 31, 2026
