Mesa County will begin the E Road Phase 2B Project on Nov. 27, 2023. The project will focus on replacing the E Road Lewis Wash Bridge and enhancing the E Road and 31 Road intersection.

Mesa County submitted a letter to the U.S. Forest Service this week with comments on the Manti-La Sal National Forests Draft Land Management Plan and EIS.

Mesa County has finished its work on the Patterson/F Road Overlay 2023 project. This project improved a section of road starting from the I-70 Business Loop near KFC to the old Rite Aid (now Lucky Me Liquor 3) at 30 Road.

Most Mesa County offices are closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 23 and 24, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Mesa County Board of Public Health voted in favor today of entering into an At-Will Employment Agreement with Xavier Crockett to be the next Executive Director of Mesa County Public Health.

On Nov. 14, at their administrative public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners approved a letter presented by Assessor Brent Goff regarding Governor Polis' Special Session on property tax reduction.
