The Mesa County Co-response was initiated in the summer of 2023 to improve the response to mental health crises and behavioral health issues in the community by integrating clinicians into patrol teams to ensure that individuals in crisis receive specialized support from a dedicated team of professionals.

The Board of Public Health announced Xavier Crockett and Todd Hollenbeck as finalists in the search for a new Executive Director. Director will be named by the end of the year.
