Warrant Forgiveness Day is Oct. 19

The 21st Judicial District is offering residents with certain active warrants an opportunity to clear their records and move forward with their lives. Warrant Forgiveness Day will take place tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 19, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Mesa County Justice Center, 125 N. Spruce St.

At the Oct. 15 public hearing, the Mesa County Commissioners approved the Clerk and Recorder's purchase of 12 new Ballot On-Demand printers from Runbeck Election Services — a $105,300 investment that will save taxpayer dollars and make our elections more secure.

Commissioners support De Beque’s grant application

The Board of Mesa County Commissioners unanimously approved a letter of support to River Network for the Town of De Beque's Rooting Resilience application for a $75,000 grant. If granted, the funding will provide grant dollars and technical assistance to community-based projects that build resilience and enhance our community’s ability to plan and carry out forestry projects.
